Hi, my name is Kali and I am creating this go fund with me with Andrew for our friend Mark Wagner.

Mark was unexpectedly taken to the hospital on January 6th. Mark, Andrew, and I were sitting at the table as we normally would catching up on a Friday night. Mark complained for a brief second about not being able to use his right arm. Mark is

 not one to complain or make things about himself.

As the conversation went on I started to notice Mark was not being himself. Mark was stuttering his words, and the right side of his face became to appear droopy.

I started to evaluate Mark by asking him a series of questions. Andrew and I thought Mark was having a stroke. We pleaded with him to go to the emergency room. Mark insisted that he did not need to go and said he had no insurance or any money and he would be okay. Andrew got his family involved which increased the urgency of the emergency. We were thankfully able to get Mark to the ER with the assistance of Derek, his brother.

Mark was flown on, a flight for life to St. Anthonys ICU immediately upon arriving. The doctors and surgeons and the whole ICU floor had never seen anything like this and did conclude that Mark did not have a stroke. His family and friends were left with no answers and Mark was not himself. He could hardly speak, he lost his mobility on the whole right side. He was checked on every hour for hours to make sure that nothing with his brain worsened. Mark was moved out of the ICU on January 18th, still with no answers. Mark went through multiple tests, MRIs. At the end of January Mark was diagnosed with Astrocytoma Stage 4 Brain Cancer.

There are no words to explain the pain that Stephanie, Mark's mom and all of his family are feeling. Mark is fully aware of what is going on and is doing his very best every day to remain positive. Mark is still in the hospital as of today. The last month Mark has been going through Chemo and radiation. He will soon be released from the hospital and go to rehab.

We have set this Gofund me up in hopes of any help for Mark. If you know Mark well he was always the one person to give a helping hand, and unfortunately, he will no longer be the mechanic or fixer that he we have always known. I know that even now Mark would not ask for help but this will help him and his family with all financial issues and hope to be able to cross those last few things off his bucket list.
