My name is Stephanie and I am raising money for a long time friend Caety Hunt and her amazing family. I asked Caety many years ago to be a Godmother to my daughter as she is a woman so strong in her faith, I couldn't think of anyone better.

Caety and her husband Casey have two beautiful children, Finnly Rose and Carver. This family has had their share of heartache over the last several years including coming within seconds of losing Carver to a then unknown heart condition and Finn's diagnosis of the progressive disease, Friedreich's ataxia. This disease has no cure. Throughout it all, Caety continued to pray and believe that God has a plan.

Carver has since healed and is moving on, but as with any degenerative disease, 13 year old Finn continues to grow weaker. She still has some partial use of her legs but is unsteady and fatigues extremely quickly. It's not safe for her to walk at school or in public places and she has been using a power wheel chair to get around. She will need to use her chair more and more as time goes on.

The family was blessed a few years ago with a used 2007 Wheelchair van from another family whose loved one had lost their battle to a disease similar to Finnley's. The van was old and rusty, missing a few things, but it did the trick. That is, until last week when a portion of the wheel well and flooring rusted out from the vehicle making it unsafe to drive.

Both parents are hard workers, but a van like this costs $70,000 or more. Being the woman of faith she is, Caety simply said "I have no choice but to give it to God."

Please help me at least get them started. If money is not an option, pray like Caety and help us give it to God.
