Martin “Buddy” Maldonado Jr.

On August 4th, 2022, Martin Maldonado Jr. or Buddy as many know him was shot and critically injured. He was taken by ambulance to Regional West Medical Center and then flown to Denver for additional treatment. Buddy has gone through three major surgeries and doctors believe that more will be required to repair his body. He remains hospitalized in Denver, and it is unknown when he will be released. He is a Correctional Officer at the Wyoming Medium Corrections Institution of Torrington. Buddy has a long road of healing and will be unable to work for an undetermined amount of time and will come out of this with a mountain of medical bills.
