Help Support Our Mom in Her Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support. Our mom has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, and our family is doing everything we can to help her through this battle.

Her diagnosis is Invasive Ductal HER2+/Grade 3 stage 2. While we are optimistic it's been caught fairly early, it is unfortunately an invasive type, so there are many uncertainties for the future.

Our mom, like most moms, is the matriarch and the heart and soul of this family, and we are the reason her heart beats every day. She’s the strongest person I know—always putting others first, showing love without limits, and facing life with a quiet kind of bravery that inspires me every day. But now, the time is here where she must put aside that pride that makes her so strong and let all the ones she loves unconditionally reciprocate that love back to her and make this journey as easy as it can be for her.

As we navigate this difficult journey, the financial burden is growing and will continue to grow—between medical bills, treatment costs, and time away from work, it has and will continue to become overwhelming. And in times such as these, money should never have to be the concern and only contributes unnecessary stress, which is the last thing needed in a battle such as this. She began her chemo treatments last week and they will continue through the summer, followed by a double mastectomy surgery, and continued chemo until next April following her surgery. She has a long year ahead.
