D-Ferg Ink Upgrade & Expansion!

I am David E. Ferguson CEO Designer & Printer of D-Ferg Ink Productions LLC.  We are a creative company specializing in all-purpose designing and printing services.  From the design of a logo and the printing production of business cards, to the design of custom art and the print production of t-shirts, we are excited to serve all of your creative needs!  Because we are a studio and art gallery, we also provide a stage and platform for visual and music artists to showcase their talents monthly.  This art and music gallery show takes place every last Friday of the month.  It is called Friday Night D-Light.

Over the years I have made many attempts in trying to get funding for my business, but I have not yet been successful in getting such help.  It has always been my own grit, grind, and of course the grace of God that has kept my business doors open.  I am proud to say that though it hasn't been easy, we have been open at my humble establishment in Lakeview, Chicago for over 5 years now!  This year I purchased an industrial laser printer to do high volume printing of business cards, flyers, brochures, menus, posters and much more!  I am very blessed to see my business grow from a dollar and a dream in 2002, to getting an establishment in 2011 and figuring it out on my own, to now having the support and talent of my younger brothers Phillip A. Ferguson & Kenneth J. Ferguson, making it a family business!  Now that I have a reliable team, it is now time for D-Ferg Ink Productions to upgrade and expand for ultimate business!

Below are the seven things we are raising the money for to upgrade and expand D-Ferg Ink Productions LLC.

1.) DIRECT TO GARMENT PRINTER
( Average industry standard cost $15,000)

A direct to garment printer is a printer that prints full color designs, photos, and images to any garment just like a printer does to paper.  This will allow us to print custom designs on apparel instantly creating more volume at a faster rate changing our turn around times from weeks to literally a day!  This is the perfect machine for our apparel production and our all purpose design and printing goals.

2.) LARGE FORMAT PRINTER/PLOTTER
(Average industry standard cost $6,000)

A large format printer/plotter is also a printer that can print 48" by any length to print banners, posters, window graphics, and vehicle wraps.  It also is a plotter and cutter and has the ability to cut around vinyl designed prints, making sheets of decals and stickers. This will be the final printing equipment needed to complete our all purpose printing in house.

3.) P.A. SYSTEM WITH MIXER AND 3 MICROPHONES
(Average industry standard cost $1,500)

The P.A. system is the speakers, mics, and sound system we use during our Friday Night D-Light gallery events for our talented music artists and bands as well as to host the event.  Our current P.A. system is over 10 years old and on it's last leg. The sound quality is way below average and doesn't give our music artists the best sound during the filming of our shows.

4.) ONE COMPUTER, ONE PROFESSIONAL CAMERA, 2 PROFESSIONAL VIDEO CAMERAS, EDITING AND ANIMATION PROGRAMS.
(Average industry standard cost $20,000)
All of these items would be used by our media, photography, video and editing crew.  My brother Kenneth J. Ferguson whom is head of the media crew has done a great job of managing and working with the amateur and out dated equipment that we have now.  It is time he is able to use his professional gifts with professional equipment.  This will allow our clients to receive top notch professional photos and videos.  Not to mention this will allow our production of our Friday Night D-Light gallery show to be streamed live with great quality!

5.) PAINT, PAINTING SUPPLIES, & CANVASES. (Average industry standard cost $2,000)
The painting supplies and canvases are for the weekly paint night classes at our gallery that are conducted by my brother Phillip A. Ferguson whom is an outstanding realist as well as abstract artist! He is one of the best in the business!  This will allow us to help kids and adults whom can't afford the supplies, but desire to learn more about painting.

6.) COFFEE BREWER, ESPRESSO MACHINE, 10 STANDING TABLES, GLASS DISPLAY CASES, AND CONSTRUCTION FOR ADDED ORGANIC COFFEE SHOP.  (Average Industry standard cost $50,000)
Second to last but definitely not least, our expansion includes an organic coffee shop within the gallery. This will bring in 50 times the daily customers. Even if they are coming in for our organic coffee, while they are here they will discover the latest art for sale as well as all the custom services we offer.  This will bring our volume sales to the max as coffee is the 2nd leading beverage business in the world!  The standing tables and glass cases will go great for the setting of the coffee shop, gallery, and live events!

7.) A YEAR OF RENT AND OVERHEAD COST AT THE GALLERY, AS WELL AS CAPITAL FOR PAYROLL AND CASH FLOW OF THE BUSINESS.
(Average cost $75,000)
This will have us up and expanding right away without any worry of paying the gallery rent, and all overhead cost for a year!  This will allow us to focus on the business and hiring and training the qualified employees to succeed and handle the huge volume of business this expansion will make.

Our goal is to raise the money by the end of July 2016 so that we can do construction, renovation, expansion, and be back up and open for business no later than the beginning of September 2016!

It has been my personal life dream to own my own art gallery, coffee shop, and venue providing all purpose designing and printing under one roof!  Each and every year I have worked hard to add just a little bit to keep this dream alive!  I have always wanted to use my gifts to employ my brothers talents and provide for my family and friends.  All of these huge goals can not be accomplished without the support of loved ones who believe in our gifts, talents, and support our business whole heatedly.  We understand that this is a lot of money to raise, but we are more than confident as well as motivated to do whatever it takes to accomplish each and every goal!  I personally thank you for all the love and support you have provided me, my family and my business over the years!  It would mean more than you know to have your support in making our vision come true at D-Ferg Ink Productions.
