Hello,

My name is Jim Hill.  My wife, Paula and I are looking to adopt our grandson.  Zeek, who is 9 years of age, has been a wonderful young boy and did not deserve the treatment he received.   Below is the story of how we arrived at Go Fund Me.

Zeek was placed in our care from DFCS after being removed from his home after abuse.  Paula and I tried to reason with his Mom but to no luck.  There is a difference between discipline and abuse, they crossed the line.

Now, Zeek is in our home where the power is always on, a hot meal is always ready, a place to sleep is always warm in the winter and cool in the summer.  These are precious items he has had to wonder in the past if he would have each day.

We are now looking to adopt Zeek and give him a stable future.  This is where we need help.  We need between $3,500 and $5,000 to fund the case.  Can you help us?  We need these funds now to begin this adoption case.

We pledge that all funds received through Go Fund Me will go toward the case.  Any funds which might remain following the case will be put toward a college fund for Zeek's future education.

As grandparents we appreciate you and your support.  Without you, Zeek may end up back in the abusive situation.
