Dezirah’s Cancer Journey

Hi, my name is Kyrsten and I am fundraising with permission from Dezirah’s parent Talia and Brian.

Dezirah Tuimauga is a beautiful 10 year old girl, full of life, so caring towards her family and friends especially her four siblings- Tekyida, Keiarah, Elijaah and Jaisiah.

Dezirah is a talented netball star who has just been selected for the Sunbury Sonics Representative Squad for 2025.

Unfortunately on Thursday 2/1/2025 Dezirah was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer- a tumour in her neck after being unwell for sometime.

The news has been a huge shock for her family and everyone close to her.

Dezirah has had an operation and will be starting Chemotherapy right away followed by Radiation Chemotherapy in the upcoming months.

As you can imagine this will put a huge strain on her family not only emotionally and physically but also financially.
