Hello I’m Dez Cadena, I’m starting this GoFundMe because on Christmas Eve I had an accident and was injured, spending 3 days in the hospital.

I’m a self employed musician (Black Flag, Misfits) and I’ve been taking care of my elderly mom in California, although I live in New Jersey. I have broken my ankle and have had surgery to fix it, but I have no medical insurance.

Because of my broken ankle I haven’t been able to play the gigs I had booked, and don’t know when I’ll be able to book more. I will have a speaking engagement at the Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas in February (buy a ticket & come see me!), but other than that, I do not expect to have any income for medical and living expenses for the next few months.

I’d like to thank everyone who donates to help me through this, and thank everyone who has helped me through my past ailment.
