Hi, my name is Martha and myself and my family are humbly asking for any help we can receive with my mother’s medical expenses. She has been fighting a host of health issues for the last 2 years. In October of 2022, we were told that she would not last through the holiday season— only by God’s grace we were able to spend those holidays with her, her birthday, and some of our family’s birthdays. She underwent a restorative surgery within the last month and has been struggling greatly. She is a proud wife, an amazing mother, a titanic grandmother and great grandmother. She has several names to those who know her: abuela, grandma, oda, and the most important name of all, mom. We’ve tried our best to manage the slew of expenses in the wake of facing these issues— a full time aide, supplies, hospital bed and infusion pump rentals, nutrition and other items not covered by medical insurance. When we applied for assistive financial services at the hospital, she unfortunately did not qualify.

We’ve come to the end of the road and our mom is passing. With your kindness and assistance these funds will be used not only to pay for outstanding medical bills but funeral services that we are trying to put in place.
