Dexter's Fight

Earlier this week, my best friend Gianna received the devastating news that the love of her life, familiar, goodest boy, and constant companion has osteosarcoma. Bone cancer.

While we are still gathering details and options, it is imperative that Dexter adhere to a strict regimen of supplements and medicine immediately to best prepare him for the coming journey. We have begun a natural protocol to get him started which will be ongoing. Additionally, he will need regular testing and monitoring to watch for growth, and he will need long-term treatment.

He is presently not a good candidate for amputation as he has an existing injury (rear right), arthritis, and plates in his left hind leg, though the natural approach is offering high hopes.

As Gianna is by his side and doing all she can to move the mountains that stand in his way, we cannot do this alone. This boy has walked though hell and back with her more than once, and now it's his turn. Right now, it's all hands on Dex.
