Dexter’s Chemotherapy Journey
Donation protected
Hi, my names Ellouise and I’m fundraising for my much loved dog; Dexter.
On Wednesday 3rd September our darling boy Dexter (at only 3.5yrs) was diagnosed with aggressive lymphoma cancer, requiring urgent chemotherapy the next day. The vets have stated they’ve not seen a case so severe and aggressive in a very long time.
Dexters chemotherapy treatment is now going to be spread throughout the next 12 months, meaning ALOT of weekly vet visits and admissions, with several side effects and medication required for these to side effects to subside. This is our only option to have Dexter with us a little longer and give him a quality of life at his young age, but comes at a great cost. Without treatment Dexter could only have a few weeks with us.
Dexter is sadly quite unwell and has deteriorated since his first chemotherapy, with an emergency vet visit, but we’re hopeful he’ll respond well to treatment over the next couple of weeks.
We currently have a shortfall of £3,800 and we are never the family to ask, but we are desperate to do all we can and are asking if any of you who may be able to even donate £1 to please help contribute towards his care and give us a little more time with our boy, and keep him as happy and comfortable as possible.
He’s one of four many loved family dogs, who means the absolute world to us, so we want nothing more to give him a chance to be with us.
Any support or donations are greatly appreciated and mean the absolute world to us.
Thank you, the Corbridge family xx
