Dexter is our 4 y/o cockerspaniel mix and he’s not just our companion he’s truly apart of our family. He loves to run, jump and play, always bringing so much tomfoolery and energy into our home. Seeing him like this is heartbreaking. Yesterday, I noticed something was wrong he was moving very slowly, wouldn’t jump on the couch or bed and just wasn’t himself. I took him to the vet, where they suspected a muscle sprain and sent us home with medication. I hoped he’d bounce back, but this morning, Dexter woke up with weakness in his hind legs and could barely walk.

The vet explained that getting imaging like an x-ray would be necessary and that doesn’t even include any further treatment he might need for a possible spinal injury. As you can imagine, this is overwhelming, and we want to do everything we can to help Dexter get better.

Any funds raised will help cover Dexter’s vet visits, imaging, medication, and any additional treatment he needs to recover.
