My housemate turned older brother Devyn has been diagnosed with melanoma again for the second time. He was first diagnosed with stage 3 nodular melanoma in 2023 which saw him going through surgery and treatment within a few week of his diagnosis. The first treatment was for 12 months and he had to stop working and studying because of this, he was unable to leave the house cause he was so sensitive to the sun and had fevers multiple times a week for the entirety of his treatment. Kya has been working and supporting him through this time. In the last week of January he felt a lump at his original surgery site, 2 weeks later we have been told he has recurring melanoma that has spread throughout all lymph nodes on the right hand side of his face and will now need another surgery and more aggressive treatment this time putting him out of action for longer than previously. Everyone that knows Devyn will agree in saying he is the laugh of the party and the most genuine human and it’s horrible to see him going through this. I'm starting this go fund me to help Devyn during this time as due to the ongoing uncertainty of what will happen this time around and how long both him and his partner will be off work. Id love for us to be able to help them with bills and ongoing medical costs during this time as well as allowing them to do something fun for themselves. Devyn has helped all of us before even if not financially, he's the one we go to when were down or want to share our good news and have someone just as excited as you are.
