Devotee Care for Syamali Dasi

Hare Krishna Friends and Family,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

As you may know, my good wife, Syamali Dasi (a disciple of HH IDS), was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. Due to the type of cancer and it's spread throughout her liver, lungs, ovaries, etc., we have decided not to pursue chemotherapy (as it would not provide hope for remission or surgery) and, given the state of her digestion and liver (nausea/blocked bile duct), we do not have the option of pursuing alternative dietary intervention or other holistic healing. 

In recent weeks, we have connected with our local hospice care center. They are kindly assisting us with in-home pain and symptom management. 

We are extremely grateful for the mentorship of Syamali's beloved Guru Maharaja, His Holiness Indradyumna Swami, as we prepare for her leaving this current body in the coming months. I would humbly plea for continued prayers for her smooth and auspicious departure. Whatever strength and clarity we have had through this time has been by the grace of God, and His sincere followers. Having dedicated myself to Syamali's around the clock material and spiritual care, I have not been able to work and may not be able to for quite some time. If you are so inclined to assist us financially during this period of transition, your help would bring great relief. Here are some of our current and forecasted expenses:

$500 Groceries x 6 mo = $3000
$250 Utilities x 6 mo = $1500
$1,608 - Medical Bills

Once the fundraiser is completed, we will be withdrawing the funds and delivering for Syamali's care via our shared bank account. We will plan to withdraw the first batch of your kind donations this Friday, June 26th. Thank you all!
