Devoted Father of Four Suffers from Two Strokes

Many of you know one of my best friends, Kristy.

To know her, is to love her. She is one of the most giving and thoughtful people that I have ever met. We met when our daughters, Ahnika and Rosalina were born at Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo, on 10/18/18 and spent a month in the Nicu together. Kristy and her family were relocated to Montreal, Quebec for her husband’s job and don’t have any family or friends living nearby.

Right now Kristy and her family are going through the unimaginable. This Father’s Day while at work, Davide, her husband suffered a stroke. He was lucky enough to have the paramedics arrive and get him to the hospital. Two days later; he had another stroke.

The future is very uncertain for them. Davide is self employed and the sole provider for his family. Unfortunately, he does not have any disability benefits or sick leave. He is a hard worker and works 6 days a week. Davide is a loving and devoted father of four:

Lilyana, 16

Lucas-Giovani, 11

Rosalina, 4

Vincenzo, 2.

He always takes them to all of their sporting events and is their biggest supporter.

Kristy’s youngest two children (Rosalina and Vincenzo) have also had ongoing medical issues that have contributed to stress for the family.

With many medical expenses, I would like to alleviate some of the financial burdens for this family, so they can focus on Davide’s recovery.
