Devoted dad and husband dies due to negligence in R.A.H.
Donation protected
My name is Wendy Stewart, my husband, best friend, soulmate died due to negligence in Scottish hospital leaving myself and our two children devastated, it was hard enough having to accept his death but made even worse by wis wife and young (at the time) family heat it all happening due to very bad judgement and error of medical staff. Mrs Stewart wishes to apply for a judicial review. I over saw the legal case myself but in amongst it all suffered a brain haemorrhage and subsequent seizures and should have realised that conducting the case myself was then going to prove difficult. A judicial review will cost many, many thousand pounds and anything anyone could donate would be very much appreciated. The NHS can not simply walk away from this when myself and my children have, one of our last memories being Paul choking to death.
please help, we need to raise as much as possible, already have had expenses of the case awarded against me, and can now only proceed on a private client basis, which will cost a very large sum of thousands of pounds
it is not possible to instruct an Advocate (this is required in a Court of Session case) without a Solicitor.
prior to Paul’s death he gave exact instructions on what he wished to happen. He didn’t want any other family having to experience what ours did, he wanted me to fight as hard as I could and exhausted every avenue. Paul was not supposed to die albeit he was very ill with Lyme Disease (well Post Lyme Syndrome) we knew the outcome was not going to be pleasant. I have been fighting for almost 9 years. The Scottish Ambulance Service have withheld 999 recordings of me saying Paul was taking a siezure, also he was turned away from the hospital on his first attendance by Ambylance in 5 February 2016 and left to deteriorate until I had to make a subsequent 999 call on 7 February 2016, I followed the ambulance to hospital in the car as Paul was going to have his 44th birthday in 8 February 2016 and I didn’t want him to be alone when the clock turned to midnight and it was his birthday. Please see excellent publication by Vivian Aitken, Award winning journalist at the Scottish Daily Record Group. Also special thank you to Dr Lance Forbat for giving Paul Support and excellent medical assistance.
This is only the beginning for me, I will need a lot of money to do this but I can’t let my husband down, I still do not know what happened and have never received an apology, instead I’ve had legal expenses awarded against me which is very wrong, I have lost everything, obviously my husband, children’s daddy being the hardest loss
