For those of you that have not followed our journey, thank you for visiting this page. The Devonstrong family has been relentless with prayers and positive energy throughout this 12-year expedition. Devon and I are in our final chapter, and it doesn’t seem real anymore that it’s coming to an end. Our adventures were amazing and memorable, from all the places we had explored to all the hospital stays, surgeries, treatments, countless medical interventions, clinical trials, and finally the peace and comfort of our home. Every one of those events brought us some kind of challenge and provided its own unique memory. Too many for one lifetime.
I plan on finishing what we had started and going to places the two of us didn’t get a chance to go to. It’ll be her, me, and the dogs. Sounds like a country song. This journey will include me taking her home. I’m taking her remains back to Michigan for a celebration of life on December 20th in Ubly, MI at the Heights Golf-Country club to cherish and embrace all our friends, family, and the Devonstrong community. I'm going to try and find some healing and peace on the way. Not sure how that will go, but God does have a plan. “Adventure is out there!” I simply need to open my heart and soul and allow it to happen. I’m raising funds to help with costs of this final hoorah to help ease the financial burden of such an adventure.
God bless and thank you, again, for reading.
