Devon Pascal Multiple Sclerosis Fund

Hello. My name is Devon Pascal. I am a technology enthusiast, musician, educator, and aspiring entrepeneur. I hesitated to create a go fund me because I know many of us have been devastated by the COVID pandemic. I lost my new job in March only two weeks before my healthcare was set to become active. This left me unemployed and uninsured. A few extremely stressful months into quarantine, I woke up one day to discover I had lost 100% vision in my left eye and just felt terrible. I scheduled an appointment with an opthmologist thinking I had some kind of eye infection. She promptly ordered an MRI, which revealed 7 lesions in my brain. Subsequent MRIs revealed 3 more lesions in my spine. My neurologist diagnosed me with RRMS, Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. There are still tests we need to do but I have already been financially hit hard just to get this far. I am starting this go fund me with hopes that I can get the money to get the rest of the tests that my doctor needs so I can begin a disease modifying treatment. At this point I am immunocompromised, have limited vision, and am experiencing pain and other symptoms so finding work has been made even harder. I am asking for the help of any family, friends, local musicians, and whoever else is able to contribute. As I said, I know these are tough times for everybody so any and all help is greatly appreciated.
