On Nov 3rd 2017 at 11:54am Devon was in a terrible motorcycle accident.
Not just a terrible one, but one of the most devastating ones a mother/family/friend could imagine. He's critical but stable for now. He's in a coma and has a number of critical injuries. You can read more details on his Facebook page (link is attached at the bottom). We are unsure of anything at this point except that it's going to be a VERY long road to recovery, no matter what that recovery looks like. We've moved into the hospital. Our dear dear Courtney is as strong as they come. Literally. She's going on week 2 of not working, showering or sleeping in her own home because Devons risk for death has been so high and we still aren't out of the woods. She hasn't asked for anything but some coffee creamer but she is about to need some serious help. You can imagine the choices she'll have to make with other kids and a grandson at home, a full time job that she hasn't been able to perform as of yet, and all the surgeries and tests that need to be paid for. Also, to compound it, Devon just turned 18 so he doesn't have health insurance now... I know that a lot of people have been asking how they can help, so here it is.
