Kaden K. Jones is a filmmaker, writer, and interdisciplinary storyteller exploring the intersections of identity, creativity, and human experience. Born in Nassau, Bahamas, Jones spent his early years there before continuing his journey at SCAD, where he is now a junior. He holds a position as the Director of Film for SCAD Manor, the university’s digital culture magazine, and as stage manager and media marketer for the school’s vocal ensemble. Jones has produced films and content that connect with both campus and online audiences. His artistic practice is cumulative and interdisciplinary—each project, whether film, poetry, or another medium, informs and deepens the others.

 

STATEMENT OF INTENT FROM THE ARTIST

The fragile intersection of humanity and technology, our dependency on AI, social media, and digital constructs, slowly erodes genuine connection. Through fragmented imagery and motion, it paints a haunting portrait of a world where we lose touch with what it means to truly feel, to truly understand, as we drift further from humanness.

With these donations, we will be able to rent the equipment, provide our crew with food, and acquire the materials necessary to make the vision of Devolution come alive!
