Help Devo Raise $ for Water for S. Sudan

After reading "A Long Walk to Water" by Linda Sue Park and researching the water crisis, the 6th grade students at the Edward Devotion School in Brookline, MA are taking the initiative to raise money for Salva Dut's organization "Water for South Sudan, Inc." The mission of this organization is to provide clean water to the people of South Sudan.

"A Long Walk to Water" retells Lost Boy Salva Dut's compelling story of escaping the Sudanese Civil War, and his remarkable way of giving back to the people of South Sudan, a population who is most severely affected by the water crisis.

The Devotion School's 6th grade also wants to give back by increasing awareness of this crisis and by raising money to help Dut drill wells in South Sudan. According to WaterforSouthSudan.org, it takes about $15,000 to drill a well in South Sudan.

Please help by donating to our cause. All funds donated on this website will go to Water for South Sudan, Inc. Thank you!
