Devin and Ripley are racing in the IRONMAN 70.3 Calgary  (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run) in Calgary on August 11th.  This is our FIRST triathlon event and we wanted to dedicate it to a cause bigger than ourselves.

We are both very passionate when it comes to protecting our oceans and beaches. Through our experiences and travel, we have seen first-hand the challenges our oceans face from pollution, offshore development and climate change. We feel strongly about taking a proactive stance when it comes to preserving our oceans and beaches, and this aligns seamlessly with the Surfrider Foundation's mission. Surfrider is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's ocean, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. Additionally, Devin and Ripley intend to become more involved with the Surfrider NYC Chapter by participating in beach clean ups and sustainability campaigns.
