Irma Devestation on St. Maarten

Donation protected

My name is Manuel L. James and my home is St. Maarten in the Caribbean. Due to the severity of hurricane Irma, St Maarten has suffered greatly.
Approximately 90% of the island, both French and Dutch side, have seen devastation. Thankfully, my family members have been accounted for. However, business, schools, churches, clinics and hospitals have been destroyed. The people of St Maarten, including my relatives, have sustained serious damage or have lost their homes.
Princess Juliana International Airport has sustained serious damage as well. At he present time, there are no inbound or outbound commercial flights. Military flights are currently evacuating tourist and the sick.
(To better understand the amount of damage, please see accompanying photos).
My family and friends of St Maarten are all lacking basic necessities. Many are with out running water, electricity, toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrush, person hygiene products (body wash, towels, hand sanitizer, etc), feminine products (tampons/pads), baby essentials (wipes, diapers, etc), and most important food (canned goods/nonperishable foods).
Bottom Line Up Front: We need your help. Any and all funds will go towards purchasing these essential items. As soon as possible our family here in the U.S. will be shipping items to St. Maarten.

Please consider a donation to help not only our family, but the people of St. Maarten.

Thank you.
