Support CVEwatch — A One‑Person Security Project Built for Everyone
I’m Chris, a senior IT automation engineer from Germany, and the creator of CVEwatch — a fully local, privacy‑respecting vulnerability monitoring/intelligence tool built entirely by one person.
CVEwatch was born out of a simple idea:
Security should be clear, fast, and accessible — without cloud lock‑in, telemetry, or hidden costs.
Over the past months, I’ve built everything myself:
architecture, backend, UI, data processing, packaging, documentation — all handcrafted, all open, all transparent.
Now I’m facing one final hurdle:
To release CVEwatch professionally and securely, I need a code‑signing certificate.
It’s mandatory for Windows, but expensive for an independent developer.
Also I want to create an own CVEwatch Database/API for free use and many other features. (Asset-Scanner, Port-Scanner, Heatmap, Agent)
Your support helps me cover this cost and bring CVEwatch to a clean, trusted, and stable 1.0 release — free for the community, and ready for admins who need clarity in their daily work.
If you believe in independent software, privacy‑first tools, and the spirit of “built by one person for everyone”, your contribution makes a real difference.
Thank you for supporting this project.
