On Wednesday, March 4th, my best friend Amy got the worst news that any mother could get. Her son had died in a motorcycle accident.

Mikey (Steven) was an amazing guy who was always upbeat, respectful, and joking around. He liked to play pranks and make everyone laugh. He took pride in his work and loved all 6 of his children deeply.

He had been living with his mom for the past 6 months and was just getting ready to settle into his own place with his girlfriend Melissa and their 3-year-old son.

This loss has not only been devastating for the family, but also brings with it the struggle to pay for funeral expenses.

Please help his family with funeral costs and hopefully a little extra for his children.

I know money can't replace the loss that this family has experienced, but hopefully it can take away some of the financial burden so they can focus on their healing process—whatever that may look like.
