My name is DeVaughn Robinson, and I am an aspiring golf professional with lifelong dreams of not only playing on the PGA Tour, but growing to become one of the best players on the planet.
The largest majority of the funds will be used directly towards entry fees and travel expenses. A portion of the funds will go toward my development as a complete player (coaching, equipment, training facilities, etc.). The remainder of the funds will be used to gear my game up in several tournaments before Q School.
Personal Background:
At 11 years old, my father introduced me to golf, It didn’t take long before I was hooked.
Growing up in the Bahamas, my family wasn’t one of great means, so I did what I could to practice and excel at the game. I would often sneak through the bushes onto a golf course before sunset, using a cut down golf club with duct tape for a grip, and grabbed as much time as I could before it was completely dark.
And soon, this determination paid off.
Today, I am proud to stand on an outstanding Amateur record, and a budding professional career; I have had the honor of collecting many accolades and titles during my career:
8 Time Bahamas National Team Member
7 Time NCAA D1 Individual Champion
8 USGA Championship Appearances (Best Finish: Round of 8 at 2017 US Mid-Am)
2017 Houston Amateur Champion
2018 Champions Cup Champion
3 Time Korn Ferry Tournament Participant
These titles and victories have begun to earn the growing attention of sponsors and fans as I continue to compete and excel.
Between playing the game that I love, and showing up as a loving husband and father to my two boys, I am focused on staying committed to greatness both on and off the golf course.
