We are pleading for as much support as possible.
Very recently we were sadly asked to vacate our horses' stables and move all of our animals and belongings, with very little notice. This was an area our sanctuary had full use of since opening in 1989.
Also, attached to the stables was a covered sand school, a vital building that during winter acted as a dry fundraising and events area and a safe winter horse turnout area. This is a significant loss to us, and we have already had to cancel multiple winter fundraising events including our wildly popular Halloween Evening, which will ultimately cause us extra financial strain.
We are now undertaking an urgent effort to construct new stables and enclosures on our visitor site, which is both secure and privately owned.
We have the utter confidence in the abilities of our dedicated volunteers, our supporters, and the resilience of our animals .
There are lots of ways we need support, including financially. As you can imagine the sheer cost for us to build and erect new stables, concrete new areas, and build suitable enclosures is scary.
We kindly plea for as much help as can be offered – this is a beyond frightening period for us, but we must continue to push forward for the sake of our animals. They are the reason we do what we do.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to you. Together, we will overcome these setbacks.
