Devastating Loss of a Husband and Father

Hello, my name is Grace Dietsch, and I am fundraising on behalf of my friend and former coworker, Alyssa Ip. Alyssa and her two children, Ada and Ellison, tragically lost their husband and father, Henry, on July 4, 2022. They had established a beautiful life in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and were excited to put down roots in this town they loved dearly. They enlisted in the Army National Guard together in 2015 and were married in 2017. Unfortunately, their lives were turned upside down this week. The future is now very uncertain.

Henry was the pillar of their family. He deeply loved their children and was a devoted husband and father. He was the family's provider while Alyssa worked as a stay-at-home mother after Ellison was born. In addition, Henry was a genuine, caring, funny, and thoughtful friend to anyone that knew him. Henry was everything to Alyssa, Ada, and Ellison. His passing is an incomprehensible loss.

As unimaginable as this loss is, it is one that Alyssa must now face head-on. One of their life insurance policies will not pay out, yet she still must provide for their children. Alyssa needs the support of everyone to help pay for such expenses as insurance, healthcare, counseling, groceries, pet care, transportation, therapy, childcare, student loans, and bill payments. If funds are left after Alyssa regains stability, she will donate what remains to a local mental health organization.

If Henry knew you, he loved you. He would do anything to help you if he didn't know you. So please consider supporting them now, when they need it the most.
