Devastating Loss of Trudy White Funeral and Family

On June 6th, we lost an amazing wife,

mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Trudy was one of the most loyal and loving people you could ever know. After battling Melanoma for years and heroically going into remission, her health struggles sadly didn’t end there as she suffered years of chronic pain. Greviously, chronic illnesses fatigue one’s mind, body, and soul. She fought an amazing battle, and although the darkness of the fight took her away from us, we honor her with the light she brought out within us all. In this light, we will remember her, her caring soul, her desire to give to others, and her unwavering love of family. The end of her pain is the beginning of what will remain an emptiness and a void for the rest of us, but we shall find peace that she suffers no more. Plans for a celebration of life are in progress tentatively on June 17th or 18th in the quad cities area.

In memory of our beloved Trudy we are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help our family cover the expenses of her funeral and other unexpected costs that have arisen following her untimely passing

We are devastated by this loss, and as a family, we are struggling to come to terms with what has happened. In addition to our grief, we are facing the daunting expenses of Trudy's funeral and other costs, which have been compounded by her unexpected passing. Trudy’s concern was to not leave her family that she loved in debt. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances there are many unforeseen costs that will arise that Travis and the children will have to account for. It is our wish to help lessen that.

We are reaching out to our community and beyond for help during this difficult time. Every little bit will go towards alleviating the financial burden we are facing and will allow us to say our final goodbyes with the care and respect she deserves.

Trudy’s concern was that it was her deepest desire not to leave her family in debt. Between paying college tuition, unexpected and significant bills and having little (or possibly no) life insurance is going to be very hard. This GoFundMe was created because we need to help cover medical bills, funeral and memorial service, obituary, and other expenses that could be an additional and unnecessary burden as Travis and family continue navigating the depths of grief ahead of them.
