If you’re local to Carrickfergus then Anne & Maurice Langley will need no introduction. Many of us will have had the pleasure of knowing this lovely family through the church, local sports teams or through Mrs Langley’s many years in Woodburn primary school.

These 2 are the most generous, kind & patient people you could ever meet & who have, for many years, played a massive part in the community, usually giving up their time voluntarily to help others.

Today, they have had a fire destroy their home. Thankfully both are safe but the fire has caused considerable damages. They have been moved to a safe place for now whilst the extent of the damage is being assessed but this will take time, and money.

So, this is a community call out to everyone! I’m sure we would all love to give something back to this couple who have spent their entire lives giving to others!
