Devastating Home Fire - Huger S.C.

Hi friends. We are reaching out on behalf of our long-time friend Melvina McFadden. She lost her home and everything she owned in a terrible fire last weekend. Melvina and her son made it out by the grace of God but her home has been deemed a total loss.

Melvina was the sitter for our twin girls 25 years ago and was an angel on earth to us as we navigated the parenthood of twin babies while both working. She kept the girls until they were old enough for school and Melvina has been part of our family ever since. Many of you know her and may have met her over the years at our parties and family events. If you were lucky you may have even had the chance to experience her wonderful home cooking!

We are collecting any donations you may be able to give so that we can get her into a new home. The funds collected will be put toward the removal of the fire debris and then the purchase of a new or used mobile home.

This has been a devastating loss for our friend as she has literally lost everything she owned. Your kindness and generosity is appreciated by us and greatly appreciated by Melvina. We are praying that by reaching out to you all, together we can be the blessings that get her back into a home of her own.
