Hello everyone,

My name is Marcus Da Rosa and I am here desperately seeking help for my community of Canoas, Rio Grande Do Sul, Brazil. I was born and raised in this city, but I now live in the United States and currently can not go back home to help my family and friends who have suffered a devasting loss recently. As some of you may know, there was a massive flood that happened in Canoas, leaving literally the entire city experiencing loss. These losses not only include their homes or their jobs, but most importantly their lives and their families lives. The sad truth is that many people have lost their lives in the historically devasting flood.

As someone who is currently not physically able to help, the only way I can do that is to send money to my community who have been extremely impacted. My sister, Calin Moura Da Rosa currently resides in our hometown and is keeping me informed of all of these devasting factors such as, homeleness, lost of family memebers and lack of general necessities of the people there. 100% of the money I am able to receieve from this fundraiser will be transfered to her to be distributed to all of the families in desperate need of help.

I am so sick to my stomach watching all of the devastation and desperation of my loved ones at home while I am not able to be there to physically help. At the very least, what I can do is ask you all to help me help my community regain at least some of what they have lost.
