Hi. My name is Emily, and I'm raising funds for my very dear friend Susan Bauguss, whose home was hit just before Christmas by a shocking flood from a storm that filled her home with more than three feet of water, which caused a devasting loss and severe damage throughout her entire condo, including her garage. Her car has been totaled. The Red Cross has classified her home as "worse than uninhabitable," and so she has been rendered houseless. Most of her appliances are unusable and the walls, flooring, plumbing and electrical of her home will have to be torn out and replaced. This doesn't even begin to address her personal items, including furniture, that were completely ruined. Her home insurance does not cover flooding, and FEMA will not help. She needs help, and that is the sole purpose of this fundraiser. Please help if you can. Anything at all will be greatly appreciated.
