Devastating Flood Leaves Retired Couple Homeless

Donation protected
Over the past week the Eastern NE / Western IA area has been hit with tragedy causing some of the worst flooding that ever occurred in the area.  Unfortunately, the City of Bellevue and many of its residents, including Rich and Ann, lost everything except the bag that they packed before being told to leave their home.  Rich is retired from the Omaha Police Dept. after 30+ years.  He and his wife Ann are devastated by this event.  Rich is also a charter member of the Blue Knights law enforcement M/C club and is very involved in supporting his community.  Due to circumstances beyond their control, Rich and Ann are now in need of the community's support.  Unsure at this point if they'll be able to rebuild their home do to the severe damage, and the possibility of FEMA declaring the area off limits for rebuilding, Rich and Ann might very well be starting over.  We are asking for donations to help Rich and Ann in dealing with this tragedy and to rebuild their lives going forward, by replacing their home, furniture, personal items and a vehicle or two.  The flood waters are receding and bills will be flowing in, so your prompt donations will be very much appreciated.  Thank You and God Bless.

This donation request is being coordinated by a team of long time friends of Rich and Ann, fellow Blue Knights, active duty and retired police officers from in and around the Omaha area.  Thank You for your support.
