Devastating fire takes all!

My name is Katie, and I have started this gofundme for my in-laws, Brenda and Don.

In the middle of the night, I received a call from Brenda that their house was on fire. By the time we got there, smoke filled the sky, and fire trucks lined the streets leading to their home. It was absolutely heartbreaking standing in front of what was left of their home. Engulfed in smoke and flames, roof collapsed, and devastation everywhere.

Thankfully Don and Brenda both made it out safely. Which is all that truly matters.

However, the house they have called home for 25+ years, the home they raised their kids in, and the home they have now watched their granddaughters grow and make memories at, was unable to be saved. They lost everything they owned….they didn’t even have shoes on their feet.

So we wanted to start a gofundme in hopes of being able to get them a little bit of help to get back on their feet. We are just so grateful that they are safe and no one was injured. However now we want to help them start building back, all they have lost.
