My name is Rick Gjokaj, first generation student at Michigan State University studying Electrical Engineering, I am raising funds for the fire at The Village Of Chandler Crossings, leaving me and my roommates with little to nothing.

On May 9th, our lives changed in a matter of minutes. The apartment my roommates and I lived in at The Village at Chandler Crossing completely burned down after a fire started by another resident on the third floor, where we also lived.

Everything happened so fast. Almost everything we owned was destroyed in the fire. Clothes, furniture, electronics, personal items, important documents, school and work materials all gone. Right now, we have no access to any of our belongings because everything was burned inside the apartment.

This has left us starting over from nothing while trying to figure out housing, daily necessities, and replacing the basic things we need to live. Any donation, no matter the amount, would truly help us during this difficult time. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean a lot to us.
