Devastating Fire Destroys Workshop

Reece and Christine St. John suffered a devastating fire on May 2, 2018, one that consumed Reece’s livelihood as a craftsman woodworker. A fire of unknown origin destroyed his 12’ x 24’ shed and all its contents. Besides the sometimes-exotic woods he worked with, he lost every piece of equipment and tool he had accumulated over 15 years. Reece and Christine could not afford insurance, as many people can’t, therefore has little hope of replacing this loss.

A little about Reece and his wife Christine. They both live humbly and work hard to support themselves and their rescued horses. Reece is a carpenter by trade, able to do unique things with wood that doesn’t always cover the cost of living. His boxes, picture frames, and furniture are absolutely one of a kind. Reece is also an expert at trim carpentry and other facets of the trade. Christine has been a hairdresser for many years, giving her all for her customers. Reece and Christine have a passion for caring for horses that have lost their homes. Their work ethic keeps them going, even during times of poor health.

Reece and Christine have been friends of ours for many years. They are people that will do anything for someone in need.

We strongly feel this family needs relief so we are forming this fundraiser campaign to make a difference in their life.

Thank You for supporting this humble cause!
