Devastating Fire Claims a Young Families Home

Hello, my name is Rina. I am fundraising for my cousin Ashlea Hartmann, her husband Jake Hartmann and their 2 beautiful daughters, Haylea age 10, and Aubree age 5.

On Saturday Ashlea and Haylea were staying the night in a hotel to celebrate Haylea’s birthday with 2 of Haylea’s close friends. Jake was at home with Aubree, Jakes brother Jeff, and Jeff’s 2 daughters.

Around 2/3 am, Jeff and Jake were awoken by the sound of fire alarms from in the kitchen.

Luckily, Jake, Jeff and all 3 kids made it out safely. Everyone was looked over by paramedics and were all cleared.

By the time the fire squad arrived, the fire had taken over the entire house destroying EVERYTHING except for a few small sentimental items that were inside a jewelry box, which were Ashlea’s wedding ring, Ashlea’s grandfathers ashes and Ashlea’s fathers United States honorary Veterans flag was recovered as well.
