Devastating Ash Wednesday Fire

On Wednesday, February 22nd -- Lisa & Talia Mogavero survived a tragic house fire in Kenmore, NY.

Talia (18) was home alone when the fire broke out and tried to extinguish the flames. Unfortunately, she was not successful in this and had to evacuate the house and flag down a neighbor to call 911. Talia stood by herself, barefoot in the Buffalo snow, watching her home burn. Nearly all of their possessions were ruined by the fire.

Anyone who has met Lisa knows what a caring, bright, and cheerful person she is. She lights up rooms with her jokes, smiles, and always strives to make those around her feel joyful.

Lisa and Talia managed to retrieve only 2 garbage bags of clothes, toiletries, personal items, etc from the apartment. They are expecting 5-6 months before they can return to the home.

They are asking for love & support to help them through this extremely difficult time.

Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and any support offered.
