Devastated from a Tragic Car Accident Please Help

My name is Sharon, and I’m creating this GoFundMe to raise money for medical costs for my husband, Thomas. On August 12th, Thomas was in a terrible car accident that caused severe injuries to his cervical spine and left him paralyzed from the neck down. Thomas was a vibrant person who was a very active skater and family man. This is a devastating event for all of us who love him. It's hard to imagine Thomas not receiving the care he needs for the best chances of recovery due to a lack of adequate insurance coverage. The at-fault driver was underinsured. Thomas has had surgery to repair his broken neck and several other procedures during his stay at Grady's trauma unit, and he continues to receive care there. 

The family is inundated with bills, and the journey has just begun. He will need rehabilitation once he leaves Grady and his home will need to be restructured to accommodate a wheelchair. Our prayer is that this GoFundMe will raise funds to provide financial resources to help ease the burden of costs associated with lost wages, medical and rehabilitative expenses.
