Devastated by a Fire

Another update --

I am asking for more donations for sweet Jeff. One of the most important things that he wasn't able to retrieve as he was fleeing the fire were his dentures, so those were the first things that he needed to replace. Unfortunately, the price of dentures is astronomical! It took every penny of his donations to pay for those, so I'm back to ask for money to help him with the expenses to get established in a new residence. He has been blessed with generous people who've given him a used house trailer, and are paying to move it to his property. But he still needs to have utilities hooked up, and to take care of other expenses involved with beginning a new life. As if he hasn't had enough bad luck, now he is in the hospital in the ICU, where they're trying to figure out what is causing a bleeding problem. The poor guy is being visited with trials like those of Job. And he desperately needs your help. Please keep him in your prayers as you support him.

An Update

Jeff is very grateful to everyone who has contributed to his recovery. He is now trying to scrape together the security deposit for an apartment, so I have increased the goal amount. He is asking for prayers and good wishes in his first steps toward a new life.

I am trying to raise funds for my darling brother, who suffered a devastating house fire. He barely got out with the clothes on his back, but that's all he has now. He has had a hard life, dealing with many health issues, and is now receiving Social Security disability -- and that brings in a whopping $600 a month! Just getting an apartment is beyond his means, especially since he lives close to a college town, where rents are outrageous. He so deserves the resources to try to start a new life. And he deserves all of the prayers and positive thoughts that he can muster. Your help will be appreciated more than you can know. Thank you!
