Devante's Leukemia treatment

Devante is a 29 year old Husband and step father born in Brooklyn, NY. About 2 months ago Devante wasn't really feeling well but continued to push and work to provide for his family. We went to the emergency room several times and urgent care facilities within the past 2 months, only to be told that he is fine and needed to rest. On August 8th Devante couldn't tolerate the pain and discomfort and we took him to the emergency room again. Except this time was different, Devante would end up being transferred to Northside Hospital to receive treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Adult. Not only did he have Leukemia but he was only breathing with half a lung. His entire right lung was filled with fluid causing him difficulty breathing.

The chemotherapy treatment started August 11th and is estimated to continue for at least 8 more weeks. During this time he is unable work and needs to focus on his health and recover. Due to these unforeseen circumstances we are asking for donations to help with medical bills during this difficult time.
