Devan & John Medical Relief Fund

On Saturday night, October 22nd, John and Devan were in a serious motorcycle accident. They were taken to St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis, where they currently remain.

John is awake and alert. He has a major concussion and head contusion. His chest, back, and hips are in quite a lot of pain. He will need strength for pain management as he continues to heal.

Devan's injuries are a little more serious, but she is stable. She has a significant closed-head brain injury but is responding to some stimulation. When the nurse performed ventilator care she squeezed her aunt's hand with a lot of strength, but the extent of the damage is still unknown at this time. When they transferred her from the ED to the ICU she was moving her left foot back and forth. She will have a long road ahead of her as she continues to fight toward recovery.

If you know Devan and John, you know the capacity of their hearts and their ability to help others. They open their home to friends and family, give more than they take, and relentlessly support those around them. They will be off work for an unknown amount of time and will need money to help cover their bills. We humbly ask for any amount you can give to get them through. Times are tough, and if nothing else, a kind thought or a prayer for their recovery is appreciated.
