Detina  Ngassa also known as" Dety " was born on November 24th , 1980 . She was originally from Congo ( RDC). She spent most of her youth in Belgium and migrated to the USA years ago. She earned a degree in law in Belgium and practiced as a  Legal Assistant in Georgia where she lived with her family.

Dety was born with  Sickle Cell Anemia and  suffered from pain for years and underwent several medical procedures. Few months ago, She decided to give herself a chance for cure from this devastating disease. She travelled to California in September 2020  with her family to pursuit a bone marrow transplant from a perfect "matched donor" who happened to be her first son. They were so excited and had big plans ahead. Unfortunately,  our God had other plans for her. Dety suddenly passed away on December 19th, 2020 from complications related to her transplant surrounded by her husband and children. She is survived by her husband William Ngassa and 3 children.
