Hi friends! My cat, Detective Kittenbinder, needed emergency surgery for bladder stones. He was a stray and we think he's 4 or 5. The stones had an unusual composition so they required extra testing and he had to stay at the vet for 2 full nights. During surgery they found 3 large stones and 60-100 small stones/grit.
The vet said it's good I was paying close attention because otherwise he wouldn't have made it through Monday night. It happened very fast.
Kittenbinder is home and recovering very well! Tests on the stones came back as mineralized blood clots. He'll need more testing to try to discover exactly why they happened, and that will be another $250.
In addition, our 18 year old beloved cat Sherlock had to be put down this week. He was wonderful but it was another unexpected expense.
My sister and I are disabled and the added expense of all of this is very difficult.
It's a hard time for everyone so don't feel compelled to donate. But if you do, anything will help.
Kittenbinder is my whole world and my emotional support animal. He's wonderful. Thank you for reading and boosting our fundraiser!
