Destructive Fire Shakes Jerry, Andy, and 2 Cats

In the middle of the night (Wed, July 23rd), an abandoned house in central district caught fire, next to the residence of my friends Johnnia, Andy, and their two cats Squire & Coconut. The fire slowly spread over to the side of their building—Johnnia awoke to see flames climbing up

her windowsill. She escaped with her cat, as the fire department arrived—while Andy rushed back upstairs, narrowly avoiding glass exploding as he caught his cat.

The four of them are not severely injured, but are currently still living in the half burnt/half waterlogged ruins of Johnnia’s bedroom. The rest of the house is not safe; Nor is STAYING there—They must now expedite finding a new place, relocate to a hotel or temporary living space, pay for temporary storage, and anything that insurance will not cover.
