My daughter, Destiny Browne, is your average 17 year old girl. She’s a loving daughter, an amazing baby sister, a wonderful aunt, a great friend, a recently accepted college freshman and an aspiring performance artist!
Destiny has had to face many challenges, in her short life, but she has taken them on with the heart and spirt of a warrior. Since the age of 5 she has been thriving in her life-long, battle with Type 1 (juvenile) Diabetes.
Recently, during her senior year of High School she was diagnosed with another childhood disease. She has rare, aggressive, high-grade Osteosarcoma (bone cancer). During the course of her first rounds of chemo it was also discovered that she has a Chiari Malformation, in her brain tissue, that may require surgical treatment.
** Though the cancer is aggressive, and she is experiencing the fight of her life, Destiny is a warrior and up for the fight! **
Due to limited resources we have to travel back and forth to UCLA for treatments, testing, and surgery. We are thankful to receive treatment at UCLA but are having difficulty keeping up with the costs. We humbly ask for your support to help offset the extra financial expense of Destiny’s Cancer Journey.
During this tough time, we ask for your prayers of strength, perseverance, healing, peace and hope for a cure! Also, please keep us (Annette, Donell, Princess and Brittany) in your prayers as we help Destiny bear the weight of this disease!
