Hello my name is destiny I’m 24, my mom was transported to meritus hospital thanksgiving morning as she was heavy breathing and unresponsive. They had diagnosed her with diabetic ketoacidosis. It has caused great damage to brain which put her in a self induced coma. Today I had to make one of the hardest decisions I have ever wanted to make which is tomorrow I will be pulling her off the ventilator (12-04-24) so she can be at peace as this is what she would have wanted. I am trying to get money together so my family can get her cremated as that was also her wishes and unfortunately I can’t come up with the money on my own. Anything will help and I am greatly appreciated with all the love and support me and my family have been receiving.
