Destiny was a beautiful bright eyed happy little girl who just turned 5 in October. Destiny has been one of the joys and light of her parents lives since she was born. As her mom describes her, she was their special dainty little princess. Destiny was a joy to her parents, and was adored by all her siblings, and anyone else lucky enough to have been in her presence.

On November 1,2023 a tragic and unexpected medical emergency occurred where Destiny earned her little wings and left this earth, shattering her parents’ hearts and crushing their world in the blink of an eye. The last words they heard her utter was “I love you too mommy.”

The unexpected death of a child is already an unimaginable loss, but it is also often something one could never truly be financially prepared for. Presently, Destiny’s mother who is currently a nursing student while working full time in the evening as a medical assistant is the sole bread winner for Destiny, her 4 siblings, and more recently Destiny’s father who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer.

As you can imagine Destiny’s parents were already dealing with a huge financial struggle and now, while trying to deal with a tremendous amount of grief and an unspeakable loss must worry about how they will bury their little princess. Any assistance would surely be a great burden lifted off their shoulders and allow them the time needed to grieve the loss of their child while also taking care of their other children.
