Hi, My name is Destiny, On January 28, 2025, I had a bad car accident. A car driving in the wrong direction was coming at me. I swerved off the road went down a hill into a tree. The driver of the other vehicle kept going. My right foot was completely detached from my leg, in order to save it I put it in the snow until EMS arrived to put on ice. My injuries were life threatening I had to be Medevac to a hospital. I was in the ICU for days. I broke both my left and right thigh, broke my right hip, my right foot was detached from my leg, broke my neck vertebrae, broke 3 bones in my spine. I had to have emergency surgeries as soon as I got to the hospital, including a blood transfusion. I had to be sedated for the emergency surgeries and didn’t wake up for days. After my emergency surgeries I had under go additional surgeries. I have had over 500 X-Ray scans taken. The devil tried to attack me again I ended up catching pneumonia in one of my lungs in the hospital. Things took a turn unfortunately, I had an infection in my hip and thigh where surgery was performed 3/5/25 My surgeon had to perform another emergency surgery to clean out the infection in my hip and thigh to stop the infection from spreading. Im currently on antibiotics I will be on for months. I had to have surgery on my back again 3/12/25 due to an infection. THANK GOD I AM STILL ALIVE not paralyzed and didn’t have anything amputated. I am still unable to walk won’t be able to normally for a year or more. I will have to ware a neck brace, body brace for my spine to stay align, a boot for my right foot. until I am fully recovered. I have a long process ahead that’s going go to take a year to two years to get back to normal. I am unable to work due to my condition this is also hurting me financially.
